Gurnam Singh Dies in Fresno County Two-Vehicle Accident
FRESNO, CA (January 16, 2021) – An elderly man died in a two-vehicle accident Saturday afternoon in Fresno County.
The accident happened just after 3:00 p.m. near the intersection of Brawley and Lincoln avenues.
According to the California Highway Patrol, 71-year-old Gurnam Singh of Fresno was driving a Nissan and did not stop at a stop sign. As he made his way into the intersection, a Ford truck slammed into his car.
Singh suffered fatal injuries from the collision and died at the scene.
Three people inside the Ford sustained minor injuries.
Officers have not determined if drugs or alcohol played a role in this crash. Further investigation is underway.
