Man Killed in Bakersfield Two-Car Crash at University Avenue
BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 25, 2021) — One man died in a two-car accident at University Avenue and Columbus Street Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the two-car collision happened around 4:22 p.m. A male passenger of one of the vehicles sustained moderate injuries and required medical treatment. However, despite having received medical intervention around 8:15 pm, he died as a result of his injuries.
At this time, the man’s identity, as well as the cause of the accident, has not been released. However, police have ruled out DUI as a possible factor in the collision, and if anyone has more information, please contact the Bakersfield Police.
