Deadly Hit-and-Run on Northgate Boulevard in Sacramento

 
NORTH SACRAMENTO, CA (June 23, 2021) – A man died in a hit-and-run on Northgate Boulevard in North Sacramento Sunday evening.
 
The incident happened around 9:10 p.m. on June 20, near 80 Freeway. According to the Sacramento Police Department, the man was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him. The driver of the vehicle took off before authorities arrived.
 
The victim, whose identity was not immediately available, died at the scene.
 
The suspect remains at large and no description of the vehicle at this time. Authorities are still investigating this fatal incident.
