Early Morning Rollover Accident on Alisal Road Kills 1 and Injures 3

 
SALINAS, CA (June 21, 2021) – One person was killed in a rollover accident on Alisal Road early Sunday morning.
 
The accident happened around 3:00 a.m. According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2001 Toyota Camry carrying four people was attempting to make a turn when it rolled over and landed on its roof.
 
As a result, one passenger suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. The driver and the other two passengers were transported to Natividad Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
 
The identity of the deceased victim was not immediately available.
 
Authorities said none of the passengers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
 
CHP officials believe that drugs and/or alcohol played a role in this crash. Further investigation is underway.
