Three Hospitalized after Solo-Car Crash on Kanan Dume Road
MALIBU, CA (June 25, 2021) — Three people were hurt in a solo-vehicle accident on Kanan Dume Road at mile marker 8.6 on Tuesday, June 22.
According to a California Highway Patrol, they received a call about the incident at around 8:15 p.m.
Reports said that the vehicle with three occupants allegedly went over the side of the road.
Medics airlifted one victim and rushed the two others via ambulance to a nearby trauma center.
According to the LACoFD reports as of 10 p.m. Tuesday, there were no fatalities from the incident. At that time, rescue crews stayed at the scene until around 10:15 p.m.
CHP said officials have not extracted the vehicle from the canyon until Wednesday.
