Rider and Passenger Hurt in Motorcycle Crash on El Cajon Boulevard near Seminole Drive
SAN DIEGO, CA (June 21, 2021) — A 32-year-old woman suffered injuries in a motorcycle accident on El Cajon Boulevard on Wednesday, June 16.
According to San Diego police Officer John Buttle, the incident happened about 10:10 p.m. on El Cajon Boulevard near Seminole Drive.
Buttle said that a 40-year-old man rode a 2006 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle east on El Cajon Boulevard. Then a 2012 Honda Accord that turned left onto southbound Seminole Drive from El Cajon Boulevard crashed into the motorcycle.
Paramedics rushed the passenger of the motorcycle to the hospital for treatment of a fractured pelvis.
The motorcycle’s driver complained of pain in his right hand and right leg. The 25-year-old man driving the Honda was not hurt.
Officials do not believe intoxication played a role in the incident.
