Woman Seriously Injured in Car Accident on Linda Vista Road [Linda Vista, CA]

Driver Thrown from Car after Accident on Linda Vista Road near Glidden Street

 
LINDA VISTA, CA (June 21, 2021) – A 30-year-old woman was thrown from her car after an accident on Linda Vista Road, Thursday evening.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident happened on June 18, at about 7:35 p.m. As per reports, a speeding 2004 Acura RSX swerved to the left and slammed into the center median.
 
The impact of the collision ejected the driver from the vehicle. Then, the Acura continued on and collided with a 2008 Hyundai near Glidden Street.
 
Paramedics transported the Acura driver to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening head wounds. Authorities did not release the name of the driver.
 
Meanwhile, the 71-year-old Hyundai driver did not sustain injuries in the crash.
 
San Diego police continue to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
