Motorcyclist Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident at Walnut Avenue and Garden Street [Visalia, CA]

Rider Dies after Colliding with SUV on Walnut Avenue in Visalia

 
VISALIA, CA (November 6, 2021) – A motorcyclist died in a two-vehicle accident at Walnut Avenue and Garden Street in Visalia Thursday evening.
 
The accident happened around 8:00 p.m. on November 4. According to the California Highway Patrol, the 39-year-old victim was riding a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on Walnut Avenue. At the same time, a 1998 Toyota Forerunner SUV was heading east on Walnut.
 
The 26-year-old male driver of the SUV made a left turn onto Garden Street and slammed into the motorcyclist in the intersection.
 
As a result, the motorcyclist suffered major injuries. Paramedics rushed him to Kaweah Health Medical Center, where he died Friday.

Meanwhile, the SUV driver was unharmed.

The cause of this fatal crash is under investigation. Authorities asked anyone with further information to call them at 734-8117.
