RANCHO BERNARDO, CA (November 8, 2021) – At least one person was seriously injured in a head-on accident on Rancho Bernardo Road Sunday evening.
 
The accident happened on around 9:00 p.m. on November 7, near Via Tarzon. According to the San Diego Police Department, two vehicles collided head-on for unknown reasons.
 
When officers arrived, they located one occupant trapped inside one of the vehicles and suffering from life-threatening injuries.
 
Firefighters extricated the patient and transported them to a hospital for treatment.
 
Police are still investigating to determine whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
