Woman Killed, German Juarez Arrested in DUI Accident on Seal Beach Boulevard [Seal Beach, CA]

Police Arrest German Juarez for DUI after Fatal Crash in Seal Beach

 
SEAL BEACH, CA (November 5, 2021) – A woman died and police arrested German Juarez for DUI after a fatal crash in Seal Beach Thursday afternoon.
 
The crash happened around 3:40 p.m. on November 4, at the intersection of Seal Beach Boulevard and St. Andrews Drive, near the Leisure World retirement community. According to the Seal Beach Police Department, the 29-year-old suspect from Los Angeles was driving a vehicle when he collided with another car, driven by the victim.
 
Orange County Fire Authority paramedics immediately responded and transported both drivers and one passenger to a hospital.
 
Sadly, the female driver of the other car did not survive and was pronounced dead at the hospital. Authorities will release her identity once next of kin is notified.
 
Police later arrested Juarez for manslaughter and driving under the influence. They booked him into the Orange County Jail following his release at the hospital.
