1 Person Dies in Multi-Car Accident on 405 Freeway in Inglewood

 
INGLEWOOD, CA (May 23, 2022) — One person died in a multi-car crash on the 405 Freeway near Century Boulevard early Friday.
 
According to reports, the fatal multi-vehicle accident happened just east of the Los Angeles International Airport. Under unclear circumstances, at least two cars collided on the northbound side around 4:00 a.m.
 
Witnesses reported seeing one car on its roof and oncoming drivers swerving to avoid the accident. Shortly after, authorities and paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed one fatality.
 
At this time, the leading cause of the accident appears unclear. However, the California Highway Patrol plans to investigate this case to determine what led to the crash. If anyone has more information on this collision, please call the CHP.
