Jessie Fleury Killed in Hit-and-Run near East Palm Canyon Drive [Palm Springs, CA]

39-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Palm Springs

 
PALM SPRINGS, CA (May 28, 2022) – Jessie Fleury died in a hit-and-run crash in Palm Springs Friday morning on May 27.
 
The fatal crash happened around 6:40 a.m. near East Palm Canyon and South Broadmoor drives. According to the Palm Springs Police Department, they received several reports of a person lying on a dirt shoulder near the intersection.
 
When officers arrived, they found the male pedestrian lying on the roadway and was already dead.
 
Fleury was 39 years old from San Jacinto, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.
 
At this time, the hit-and-run driver remains at-large.
 
Police said they were looking for a red 2012-16 Porsche Carrera with front-end damage. The department’s Traffic Division asked witnesses to call them at 760-323-8125.
