One Killed in Multi-Vehicle Accident on 210 Freeway at Santa Anita Avenue [Arcadia, CA]

Early Morning Multi-Vehicle Accident on 210 Freeway in Arcadia Leaves 1 Dead

 
ARCADIA, CA (May 30, 2022) – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle accident on 210 Freeway in Arcadia early Sunday morning on May 29.
 
The accident happened just before 3:30 a.m. on the eastbound side of the 210 Freeway at Santa Anita Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident involved a semi truck and several other vehicles.
 
Video from the scene showed what appeared to be a black sedan that had flipped onto its roof.
 
Responding officers confirmed one fatality as a result of the accident. The withheld the victim’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
 
The crash shutdown all freeway lanes around 4:00 a.m. By 5:15 a.m., the far left lane was reopened and traffic was moving slowly through the crash site.
 
The exact cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
