Woman Hurt in Overturned Accident on Coronado Bridge

 
CORONADO, CA (May 17, 2022) — A woman was injured in an overturned crash on Coronado Bridge near Harbor Drive Saturday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a woman driving northbound on the Coronado Bridge struck a tollbooth divider. As a result, the vehicle flipped over, causing injuries to at least one person in the car.
 
Soon after, paramedics brought the injured female driver to a hospital for treatment.
 
At this time, the factors leading to the crash are unclear. However, CHP officers will determine if DUI played a role in the crash. Anyone with information should call the authorities.
