Person Killed in Motorcycle Crash on 215 Freeway near 5th Street Exit [San Bernardino, CA]

Person Dies in Motorcycle Accident on 215 Freeway in San Bernardino

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (June 10, 2022) — One person died in a motorcycle crash on the 215 Freeway near the 5th Street exit Wednesday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal motorcycle collision happened around 8:30 p.m. For unknown reasons, a motorcyclist and a vehicle crashed on the southbound side of the freeway near the 5th Street exit.
 
Shortly after, firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department and CHP officials arrived at the scene. However, despite efforts to save the victim, firefighter-paramedics pronounced the motorcycle rider dead at the scene. Officials have yet to release the person’s name.
 
At this time, authorities have not released the leading cause of the crash and the condition of the other driver. If anyone has more information, please call the CHP.
