Motorhome Accident on Highway 79 in Temecula Injures Two, One Critically

 
TEMECULA, CA (June 15, 2022) – Two people were injured in a motorhome accident on Highway 79 in Temecula Monday afternoon on June 13.
 
The accident happened around 4:40 p.m. on the eastbound side of the highway at Anza Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorhome veered off the highway and slammed into a tree.
 
Riverside County Fire Department crews responded and extricated the two occupants in the vehicle. One of them was critically injured and the other had moderate injuries.
 
Reach Air helicopter transported the critically injured patient to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar.
 
CHP officers shut down both sides of the highway between Anza and Meadows Parkway during the rescue operation.
 
At this time, the exact cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
