Michael Winter Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Streeter Avenue [Riverside, CA]

Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with Sedan at Streeter Avenue and Jerry Louder Drive

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (July 9, 2022) – Michael Winter was killed in a motorcycle accident in Riverside Thursday evening on July 7.
 
The accident happened around 8:10 p.m. at Streeter Avenue and Jerry Louder Drive. According to the Riverside Police Department, Winter was riding his Suzuki motorcycle northbound on Streeter at an undetermined speed. When he reached the intersection, a 32-year-old motorist in a Dodge Charger arrived from the opposite direction and initiated a left turn onto Jerry Louder.
 
As both motorcycles entered the intersection, they collided.
 
Winter was thrown onto the roadway and suffered catastrophic injuries. He died at the scene a few minutes later. He was a 25-year-old Redlands resident.
 
The Dodge driver, whose identity was not disclosed, was not hurt, nor was their passenger.
 
At this time, it is unknown if alcohol or drugs may have been contributing factors. Further investigation is underway. Police urged anyone with information to contact them at 951-826-8724.
