One Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Virgil Avenue at Santa Monica Boulevard [East Hollywood, CA]

Motorcyclist Dies after Colliding with Vehicle on Virgil Avenue in East Hollywood

 
EAST HOLLYWOOD, CA (July 10, 2022) – One person died in a motorcycle accident on Virgil Avenue in East Hollywood Saturday afternoon on July 9.
 
The accident happened around 5:00 p.m. at Santa Monica Boulevard. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the victim was riding their motorcycle when they collided with a vehicle in unclear circumstances.
 
After the crash, the motorcyclist was thrown into the roadway. They suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
At this time, authorities withheld the victim’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
 
No information was provided as to what led to the crash, what type of vehicle was involved or if the other driver stayed at the scene to render aid.
