BAKERSFIELD, CA (July 15, 2022) — There was slow traffic after two trucks crashed on Highway 99 near Highway 58 Wednesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle accident happened around 5:30 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, a box truck and a semi-truck collided on Highway 99 South near Highway 58.
 
Fortunately, no one involved reported any injuries. However, commuters faced slow traffic on the southbound side, and as of 7:30 a.m., lanes began to reopen.
 
At this time, authorities have not indicated the circumstances of the accident. However, any witnesses with information can call the CHP.
