1 Dies in Motorcycle Accident on O’Byrnes Ferry Road in Calaveras County
CALAVERAS COUNTY, CA (July 3, 2024) — One person died in a motorcycle crash on O’Byrnes Ferry Road at Black Creek Drive.
The deadly motorcycle accident happened around 9:42 a.m. Tuesday. For unknown reasons, a driver of a Ford F-250 pulling a 27-foot camper collided with a motorcycle. Subsequently, California Highway Patrol officers responded and closed the area for nearly two and a half hours as they surveyed the scene.
Tragically, one person involved in the collision passed away. Officials have not released the victim’s name pending notification of family members.
Since the road remained closed for several hours, drivers used alternate routes.
