At Least 1 Injured After Big Rig Overturns, Spills Tomatoes on Diablo Grande Parkway

 
STANISLAUS COUNTY, CA (July 12, 2024) — A big rig crashed and overturned, spilling tomatoes on Diablo Grande Parkway near Oak Flat Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the truck accident happened around 8:05 a.m. Tuesday. For an unknown reason, a driver lost control of a big rig, causing it to overturn and spill tomatoes onto the road. Soon after, CHP officers arrived and closed the road until 12:30 p.m.
 
Reports said at least one person suffered a minor injury. However, officers provided no information on the victim and the cause of the crash.
