Michael Dubay Dies in Pedestrian Crash on Railroad Canyon Road near Canyon Lake Drive
CANYON LAKE, CA (June 18, 2021) — Michael Dubay died in a pedestrian accident on Railroad Canyon Road near Canyon Lake Drive Thursday morning.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the fatal pedestrian crash occurred around 2:40 a.m. Under unknown circumstances, a driver struck 29-year-old Dubay outside of a marked crosswalk.
Soon after, the driver pulled over and contacted 911. However, upon arrival, paramedics pronounced the Riverside man dead at the scene.
Following the crash, the driver stayed on-site and cooperated with police investigations. At this time, authorities have ruled out impairment as a possible explanation. However, if anyone has more information, please contact the Canyon Lake Station at 951-245-3000.
