Robert Ondracek Unharmed in Fatal Car Accident on Highway 99 near V Street

 
MERCED, CA (June 18, 2021) — Robert Ondracek was unharmed in a fatal car accident on Highway 99 near V Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle crash happened around 10:40 p.m. during slow-moving traffic. For unclear reasons, a 42-year-old man in a 2021 Mazda CX-5 failed to yield to a tractor-trailer ahead. As a result, the Mazda collided head-on with the 2019 International tractor, which was towing a trailer in the No. 1 lane.
 
As a result, the Mazda driver who remains unidentified suffered fatal injuries. As for Ondracek, he remained at the scene and was uninjured in the crash.
 
Per reports, the crash occurred amid road construction north of the crash location. At this time, the case requires further investigation and anyone with information should contact the CHP.
