Traffic Accident on McLaughlin Avenue in San Jose Kills Rider

 
SAN JOSE, CA (June 27, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic accident on McLaughlin Avenue at Cray Court Saturday night.
 
The accident happened around 9:00 p.m. on June 26, just north of East Capitol Expressway. According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist was traveling in the area when they collided with a vehicle for unknown reasons.
 
The impact caused the motorcyclist fatal injuries. Police said they were not wearing a helmet during the crash.
 
Authorities will release the victim’s identity once it is confirmed and family members are properly notified.
 
It is unclear if speed, drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
