Fatal Semi Truck Accident on Highway 33 in Kern County
KERN COUNTY, CA (June 27, 2021) – One person died in a semi truck accident on Highway 33 in western Kern County early Sunday morning.
The accident happened around 12:30 a.m. on June 27, at Lokern Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, the semi truck and a sedan collided for unknown reasons.
First responders found one fatality as a result of the accident. The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
CHP officials are still investigating the accident to determine the ultimate cause and factors involved.
