Woman Killed, Child Injured in Car Accident on Jackson Road at Murieta Parkway [Rancho Murieta, CA]

Fatal Car Accident Reported on Jackson Road in Rancho Murieta

 
RANCHO MURIETA, CA (June 27, 2021) – CHP confirmed the death of a woman following a car accident on Jackson Road on June 22.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Murieta Parkway shortly after 3:00 PM.
 
Based on reports, a vehicle was driving erratically in the area of Jackson Road. Subsequently, the vehicle overcorrected, ejecting the female driver.
 
As a result, the woman died in the incident. Officials did not yet release her identity pending kin notification. A child was also in the car and was thrown out of the vehicle during the crash. The victim sustained unspecified injuries. Officers said neither the driver nor the child was wearing restraints at the time.
 
At this point, this accident on Jackson Road is still under investigation.
