Woman Killed in Modesto DUI Crash on Oakdale Road

 
MODESTO, CA (June 25, 2021) — A woman died in a DUI accident on Oakdale Road near Scenic Drive Thursday morning.
 
According to the Modesto police officers, the fatal two-vehicle crash happened around 2:30 a.m. For DUI-related reasons, a driver in a northbound four-door sedan crashed into a southbound truck at a high rate of speed.
 
As a result of the accident, a woman in the sedan died upon impact. Meanwhile, the driver in the truck sustained only minor injuries while the sedan driver suffered moderate injuries. Following the investigation, police arrested the driver of the sedan on DUI and vehicular manslaughter charges.
