Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Sedan on Tennyson Road in Hayward

 
HAYWARD, CA (July 25, 2022) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on Tennyson Road in Hayward Saturday evening on July 23.
 
The fatal accident happened around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection with Dickens Avenue. According to the Hayward Police Department, the 45-year-old male pedestrian was walking in the area when a sedan struck him.
 
First responders found the pedestrian unresponsive on the roadway. They attempted saving him, but the victim died at the scene.
 
The driver of the sedan remained on scene and cooperated with authorities.
