Alfonso Herrera Identified as Hit-and-Run Suspect in Greenfield Pedestrian Accident

 
GREENFIELD, CA (July 25, 2022) – Authorities are looking for 34-year-old Alfonso Benito Herrera following a pedestrian hit-and-run on Elm Avenue, Friday.
 
According to the Greenfield Police Department, the incident happened on July 22. Due to unknown circumstances, a vehicle hit a 25-year-old in the 1100 block of Elm Avenue.
 
Emergency crews rushed the victim to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries. As per reports, the victim remains in critical condition.
 
However, the driver of the vehicle immediately left the area.
 
Authorities later identified Herrera as the suspect and issued an arrest warrant. Investigators described Herrera as a male adult, 5’4” and 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
