Man Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Power Inn Road in Elder Creek Neighborhood

 
ELDER CREEK, CA (July 29, 2022) – A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Power Inn Road in the Elder Creek neighborhood of Sacramento on Tuesday evening.
 
The crash happened just before 8:30 p.m. at Andora Way. According to the Sacramento Police Department, the male pedestrian was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
 
After striking the victim, the vehicle took off before officers arrived.
 
The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was not yet identified.
 
At this time, the hit-and-run suspect remains at large. Police are still investigating the fatal crash.
