4 Dead in Fiery Single-Car Crash on Foothill Road in Pleasanton
PLEASANTON, CA (April 26, 2024) — A family of four died in a fiery solo-car accident on Foothill Road near Stoneridge Drive.
According to Pleasanton police officers, the tragic single-car crash happened around 9:00 p.m. Wednesday. For an unknown reason, a driver of an electric vehicle left the road and struck a tree before the vehicle burst into flames. Subsequently, emergency personnel responded to the scene but the four victims inside the vehicle, a family, passed away in the crash. Authorities have not identified the father, mother and two children under the age of 15 pending family notification.
At this time, investigators are looking into the possibilities.
