Tyrone Lindqvist Killed in Rollover Accident on West Vernon Avenue [South Los Angeles, CA]

Rollover Crash in South LA Kills One and Sends Three Others to Hospital

 
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (April 24, 2024) – Tyrone Lindqvist was killed in a rollover accident in South Los Angeles Tuesday afternoon on April 23.
 
The fatal accident happened around 1:35 p.m. at West Vernon Avenue and Walton Avenue. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a 2014 Honda Accord and a 2016 Nissan Versa were traveling eastbound on West Vernon Avenue at high rates of speed. The Versa lost control and crashed into a telephone pole, while the Honda Accord collided with multiple vehicles.
 
When officers arrived, they located an overturned vehicle with the victim inside.
 
Lindqvist was pronounced dead at the scene. He was a 44-year-old Garden Grove resident, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
 
The 21-year-old female driver of the Accord and two other occupants were taken to a hospital in stable condition.
