8 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Accident on West Hubbard Street [Sylmar, CA]

4 Children Among 8 Injured in Sylmar Multi-Vehicle Crash on West Hubbard Street

 
SYLMAR, CA (May 24, 2024) – Eight people, including four children, sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on West Hubbard Street, Thursday afternoon.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the incident happened on May 23, at about 3:00 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, at least four vehicles collided in the 14900 block of West Hubbard Street.
 
Emergency crews transported two adults and four children to a local hospital for treatment of minor to major injuries. Two other adults suffered injuries but declined hospitalization.
 
Investigators said that some of the children were improperly restrained.
 
The Los Angeles Police Department continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
