1 Killed, Pickup Crashes Into Agriculture Equipment on Comstock Road in San Joaquin County
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CA (May 17, 2024) — A driver died after a pickup truck crashed into farming equipment on Comstock Road and Duncan Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly accident happened around 5:00 a.m. Wednesday. For unknown reasons, a pickup rear-ended a farming equipment, causing the pickup to overturn and partially eject the driver.
Subsequently, paramedics arrived at the scene and found the driver with fatal injuries. Officials have not identified him but described him as a 59-year-old Lockford resident.
Authorities did not specify what caused the pickup truck to rear-end the agricultural sprayer vehicle. However, an investigation should provide more details.
