Igor Matyashuk Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Rodeo Drive [Victorville, CA]

Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with Car at Rodeo Drive and Hughes Road

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (May 30, 2024) – Igor Matyashuk was killed in a motorcycle accident in Victorville Tuesday evening on May 28.
 
The fatal accident happened around 7:17 p.m. at the intersection of Rodeo Drive and Hughes Road. According to the Victorville Police Department, Matyashuk was riding a blue-and-white Yamaha sports bike when he collided with a black Mercedes-Benz.
 
The impact ejected Matyashuk from his bike. He suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was a 36-year-old Victorville resident, according to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office.
 
The male driver of the Mercedes and a passenger declined medical transportation at the scene. They later went to a local hospital by private vehicle.
 
An investigation into this fatality is underway.
