Two Military Vehicles Collide on Highway 58 in Bakersfield Severely Injuring One Person

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 1, 2024) – At least one person was severely injured in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 58 in Bakersfield Wednesday night on May 29.
 
The accident happened around 6:27 p.m. at Union Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, two tan military vehicles collided along the westbound highway for unknown reasons.
 
Paramedics arrived and found at least one person suffering from major injuries as a result of the crash. They took that patient to a hospital for treatment.
 
At this time, the exact cause of the crash is under investigation.
