90-Year-Old Woman Dies in Solo-Car Accident on Oro Dam Boulevard near Rusty Dusty Road [Oroville, CA]

Elderly Woman Killed in Single-Car Crash on Oro Dam Boulevard in Oroville

 
OROVILLE, CA (June 19, 2024) — A 90-year-old woman died in a solo-car accident on Oro Dam Boulevard near Rusty Dusty Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly single-car crash happened around 11:00 a.m. on Monday. For unknown reasons, a 90-year-old woman in an eastbound 2007 Honda CRV was drifting in and out of the westbound lanes. Subsequently, her vehicle completely entered the westbound lane before drifting off the road and hitting a tree.
 
As a result of the impact, the car rolled over and came to a rest on its wheels.
 
Moments later, CHP and paramedics responded and confirmed her deceased at the scene. Police did not release her name.
 
At this time, officers do not suspect alcohol or drugs to have factored into the accident. However, they are looking further into the crash to identify any outstanding information.
