Casey Fryer Killed in Motorcycle Head-On Accident on Fairview Avenue [Hemet, CA]

Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with Pickup Truck in Hemet

 
HEMET, CA (June 20, 2024) – Casey Fryer was killed in a motorcycle head-on accident south of Hemet Tuesday evening on June 18.
 
The fatal accident happened around 7:30 p.m. on Fairview Avenue, just north of Bautista Canyon Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, Fryer was riding a 2024 Kawasaki motorcycle northbound on Fairview when he drifted over the double yellow lines, into oncoming traffic.
 
At the same time, the driver of a Dodge Ram pickup was traveling southbound and saw the Kawasaki. He attempted to take evasive action by turning to the right, but was unable to avoid the crash.
 
The motorcycle slammed into the pickup, ejecting Fryer onto the roadway. He suffered significant injuries.
 
Riverside County Fire Department paramedics responded and attempted life-saving efforts, but Fryer died at the scene. He was 35 years old.
 
The pickup driver, 37-year-old Hemet man, was unharmed.

No arrest has been made at this time. An investigation into this crash is ongoing. Anyone with further information is asked to contact the CHP San Gorgonio office at 951-846-5300.
