HIGHLAND, CA (July 5, 2024) — One person died in a car accident on the 210 Freeway near 5th Street.
The fatal car accident happened around 5:13 a.m. Thursday. Under unclear circumstances, at least one car crashed on the 210 West Freeway in Highland. Moments later, police and paramedics responded to San Bernardino Avenue and 5th Street to attend to the crash.
Officers confirmed at least one fatality but did not specify the events leading to the accident. The accident caused a closure in the area even past 8:50 a.m.
