Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with Another Vehicle on Winfield Boulevard in San Jose
SAN JOSE, CA (July 12, 2024) – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic accident at Winfield Boulevard and Furlong Drive in San Jose on Thursday afternoon.
The fatal accident happened just after 4:00 p.m. on July 11. According to the San Jose Police Department, a vehicle and a motorcycle collided at the intersection for unknown reasons.
Police said the motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries from the crash and died at the scene. The victim’s identity was not immediately available.
The crash impacted the traffic on Winfield Boulevard between Blossom Hill and Coleman roads for several hours. The roadway was reopened around 9:00 p.m., police said.
