Fatal Two-Vehicle Accident on Highway 162 in Oroville
OROVILLE, CA (February 12, 2021) – One person died and four others were hospitalized after a two-vehicle accident on Highway 162 Friday evening.
The fatal two-vehicle accident happened around 8:30 p.m. near Midway.
According to Cal Fire Butte Unit/Butte County Fire Department, one unidentified person suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
Paramedics took four patients to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
Three other occupants escaped injury.
A medical helicopter was called to the scene, according to Cal Fire.
The full circumstances of this crash remain under investigation.
