2 Die in Bakersfield Accident on Ming Avenue
BAKERSFIELD, CA (February 19, 2021) — Two people were killed in a single-car accident on Ming Avenue near H Street.
According to police, the deadly crash happened around 10:25 p.m. near the Kern County Fairgrounds. Under unclear circumstances, a vehicle struck a utility pole and another object. Due to the extreme force of a crash, the vehicle split in half, ejecting a man from the car.
Upon arriving, police found a man and a woman dead at the scene. However, their identities have not been confirmed.
Shortly after, paramedics arrived and transported two other men with major injuries to Kern Medical.
