7 Injured in Head-On Accident on Amargosa Road near La Mesa Road [Victorville, CA]

7 Hospitalized in Victorville Head-On Crash on Amargosa Road

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (February 19, 2021) — Seven people were injured in a head-on accident on Amargosa Road near La Mesa Road Wednesday afternoon.
 
According to reports, the head-on collision happened around 1:24 p.m.
 
Upon responding, Victorville City Fire found a Hyundai sedan and a silver SUV with damage to their front ends. Also, emergency personnel found one adult and four children in the sedan and one adult and one child in the SUV.
 
In response to their injuries, paramedics airlifted four critically injured patients to several trauma centers. Soon after, another team shuttled the remaining three by ground ambulances.
 
As a result of the crash, police closed Amargosa Road in both directions for investigations and cleanup.
