Ernesto Guizar Jr. Crashes Car into House on Ventura Avenue in Simi Valley

 
SIMI VALLEY, CA (February 22, 2021) – Police arrested Ernesto Guizar Jr. following an accident in the 700 block of Ventura Avenue on February 16.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near 5th Street at approximately 8:40 PM.

Based on a report, Guizar was driving his 2014 Chevy Camaro southbound on the 5th prior to the crash. Suddenly, it failed to negotiate a curb. Consequently, the Chevy jumped the curb and crashed into a house. Upon arrival, officers found it partially into the residence which had significant damage.

As a result, Ernesto Guizar, a 25-year-old Simi Valley resident, suffered minor injuries. Crews transported him to Simi Valley Hospital for treatment. Fortunately, crews confirmed that there were no injuries to any of the occupants of the house.

In conclusion, officers arrested Guizar for driving under the influence of alcohol. At this point, the Simi Valley Police Department is still investigating the case.
