Authorities Identity 26-Year-Old Man Killed in Long Beach Pedestrian Accident
LONG BEACH, CA (February 15, 2021) – The coroner’s office identified 26-year-old Jameon Davis as the man who died in a pedestrian accident Monday morning in Long Beach.
The accident happened around 5:45 a.m. in the area of Long Beach Boulevard near Pepper Drive, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Police said Davis was standing in the roadway when a northbound 2004 Nissan 350z driven by a 28-year-old man struck him.
The impact threw Davis into the southbound lanes, where he was hit by a 2018 Nissan Sentra, driven by a 28-year-old woman.
Davis suffered severe injuries and died at the scene.
Police did not suspect alcohol or drugs as a factor in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
