Man Dies in Pacific Palisades Pedestrian Accident on Pacific Coast Highway
PACIFIC PALISADES, CA (February 16, 2021) — A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on Pacific Coast Highway near Porto Marina Way Sunday night.
According to police, the fatal crash occurred before 11:00 p.m. Under unknown circumstances, a Nissan struck a 27-year-old pedestrian crossing Pacific Coast Highway.
Upon impact, the Nissan traveled off the road and landed on the beach.
In their investigation, police determined that the pedestrian was not in a marked crosswalk at the time of the accident. Shortly after the incident, he died at the scene, and authorities have yet to release his name.
Meanwhile, the 24-year-old man and 26-year-old woman in the Nissan suffered unknown injuries in the crash.
