Man Dies in San Diego Pedestrian Crash on 5 Freeway
SAN DIEGO, CA (February 26, 2021) — A man was killed in a pedestrian crash on the 5 Freeway near Front Street Wednesday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly incident occurred around 9:05 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a male pedestrian on the southbound freeway near the Front Street exit.
As a result of the crash, the man died at the scene, despite having received life-saving measures. Still, authorities have not released his name, age or residence.
