Man Dies in Keyes Two-Car Accident at Keyes Road
KEYES, CA (February 15, 2021) — A man was killed in a two-car accident at Keyes Road and Faith Home Road Saturday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a two-vehicle crash report came in around noon. Under unclear circumstances, a gray Mercedes-Benz and a light brown Hyundai sedan crashed at the intersection.
As a result of the impact, the Hyundai rolled over and came to a rest in a nearby orchard.
In the investigation, detectives determined that the Mercedes struck the southbound Hyundai as it traveled westbound. In addition, police believe one of the vehicles ran a red light. However, they have yet to determine which car failed to yield to the traffic signal.
As a result of the crash, one man died at the scene. Another male sustained head, back and neck pain and required hospital transportation.
At this time, authorities have not determined the factors that led to the accident. Yet if anyone has more information on this crash, please contact the CHP.
