Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident on Washington Boulevard in Pasadena
PASADENA, CA (February 11, 2021) – A pedestrian was killed Thursday night after a hit-and-run accident at Washington Boulevard and Hudson Avenue.
According to Pasadena Police Department, the hit-and-run accident happened around 6:40 p.m., February 11.
Police said the pedestrian was crossing the roadway when a westbound car being driven by a 28-year-old man, hit him. Following the initial impact, a white sedan also struck the man while he was lying on the ground. The driver of that second vehicle did not stop to render aid.
As a result, the victim suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. Authorities only identified him as 61-year-old Pasadena man.
Meanwhile, the first motorist stayed and cooperated with the investigation. He was not cited or arrested.
Further investigation is underway. Police asked witnesses to call them at (626) 744-4241.
