Critical Injuries Sustained in East Hollywood Hit-and-Run Accident on Virgil Avenue
EAST HOLLYWOOD, CA (February 10, 2021) – A tow truck driver suffered critical injuries Saturday evening last week after a hit-and-run accident at Virgil Avenue and Clinton Street.
According to Los Angeles Police Department, the hit-and-run accident happened on February 6 around 8:00 p.m. in the east Hollywood area.
The 46-year-old tow truck driver, identified by police only as Gustavo, was standing the roadway taking pictures of a vehicle when a southbound motorist struck him. The driver fled the scene without rendering aid.
The victim suffered severe blunt force trauma injuries from the impact. He was hospitalized and was listed in critical condition.
Authorities Wednesday sought public help to find the hit-and-run motorist responsible for the accident. They offered a reward of up to $25,000 for information that would help them solve this hit-and-run.
